Chakalaka wors sishebo

Chakalaka wors sishebo

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup cooking oil
  • 1 large onion, finely diced
  • 2 green peppers, finely diced
  • 1 tsp Robertsons Peri-peri
  • 1 tbsp Rajah Hot Curry Powder
  • 6 large tomatoes, grated
  • 4 large carrots, peeled and grated
  • 1 tin baked beans in tomato sauce
  • 1 Knorrox Chilli Beef Stock Cube
  • 2 tbsp Knorr Curry Vegetable Soup
  • 400g boerewors, grilled

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pot on medium for 1 minute.
  2. Add onions and green pepper to pot. Fry until soft with Robertsons Peri-Peri and Rajah Hot Curry Powder.
  3. Add the carrots, tomatoes, baked beans, Knorrox Chilli Beef Stock Cube and mix together.
  4. Allow the mixture to cook for 15-20 minutes on medium. Stir continuously so it becomes smooth.
  5. Before serving, add 4 tbsp of water to Knorr Curry Vegetable Soup to make a paste. add the paste to the pot and allow to simmer for 5 minutes while stirring until becomes thick.
  6. Serve with boerewors and pap.
